Terms & Conditions
Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). Any information or instructions published by the Sonos, Inc., with its registered offices at 614 Chapala Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, or its wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively “Sonos”) about the Promotion at www.sonos-welcome.com form part of the Terms and Conditions.
- Participants may use a discount code received from Sonos (the “Discount Code”) to receive 20% off their purchase on sonos.com or Sonos-operated store, or to receive a 20% Cashback Reward (a “Cashback Reward”) for purchases made from Sonos Authorised Retailers either online or in store (“Third Party Retailers”), subject to the Terms and Conditions (collectively, the “Promotion”).
- The Promotion applies to Qualifying Products only (as defined below). Qualifying Products purchased as part of another promotion are specifically excluded from this Promotion.
- Discount Codes are one-time use only.
- Purchases from non-authorised Sonos resellers are not eligible for this Promotion.
- To be eligible to participate in the Promotion (an “Eligible Participant”) you must (a) be an individual of legal age in your jurisdiction of residence, (b) be an end user customer, (c) have received an email from Sonos regarding the Promotion within one-hundred (100) days of your first purchase of Qualifying Product(s), and (d) reside in one of the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States (the “Participating Countries”).
- Businesses are excluded from participating in this Promotion.
- Cashback Rewards shall be paid by bank transfer and Participants must have a bank account in their country of residence in order to receive the Cashback Reward.
- A claim must be made by the Eligible Participant and must not be submitted through agents, retailers, resellers, third parties or in bulk.
Qualifying Sonos Products
The following Sonos products qualify for this Promotion (each a “Qualifying Product”):
Qualifying Products for discount: All products offered on Sonos.com and in Sonos-operated retail stores, excluding gift cards and refurbished products.
Qualifying Products for Cashback Reward:
- Sonos One;
- Boost; or
- Playbar Wallmount
- Eligible Participants may receive 20% off their purchase of Qualifying Product(s) made prior to 11:59PM GMT 8th May 2018 on sonos.com or at a Sonos store or from a Participating Retailers, or such longer period as may be extended by Sonos in its sole discretion (the “Promotion Period”).
- Participants who purchased Qualifying Product(s) during the Promotion Period on sonos.com or Sonos store will only be entitled to a maximum discount from each Discount Code for your local currency: USD 200, CAD 250, AUD 260, GBP 160, EUR 200, SEK 1,650, DKK 1,250, NOK 1,620, CHF 200 Discount Codes are one-time use only and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion, including the Cashback.
- Participants who purchased Qualifying Product(s) during the Promotion Period from Participating Retailers will be entitled to claim a Cashback Reward equal to the value of 20% of the purchase price paid for the Qualifying Product(s), up to a maximum Cashback Reward value of the following for your local currency: USD 200, CAD 250, AUD 260, GBP 160, EUR 200, SEK 1,650, DKK 1,250, NOK 1,620, CHF 200.
Entry for Participant(s) who bought Qualifying Product(s) from Participating Retailers
- After purchase of the Qualifying Product(s), Participants must visit www.sonos-welcome.com, complete the claim form and upload a copy of their proof of purchase in the form of a receipt or invoice detailing the specific Qualifying Products purchased.
- Claims and supporting documents must be received within six (6) weeks of the date of first notification by e-mail from Sonos of the Promotion, or such longer period as may be extended by Sonos in its sole discretion to be eligible for a Cashback Reward.
- Participants will receive their Cashback Reward by bank transfer from the Administrator within 30 days of successful claim validation.
- If the claim is deemed to have not been submitted correctly, the Participant will be notified via email and offered the opportunity to provide the required information within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the email. If no response is received within seven (7) calendar days of the email being sent then the claim shall be marked as invalid and the Participant will no longer be eligible to receive the Cashback Reward.
- Claims that are incomplete will be deemed invalid. Sonos is not responsible for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of claims.
Privacy and Data Protection
- Other than set out in these Terms and Conditions, described in the Sonos Privacy Statement or for the purposes of operating the Promotion, the details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Promotion or claiming the Cashback Reward will not be used for any other purpose.
- Sonos reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions and to disqualify claims which it considers do not comply with these Terms and Conditions at any time at its own discretion.
- Sonos shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to generate or require further verification as to proof of purchase, as well as the identity, age, and other relevant details of a Participant, deny a Cashback Reward, or terminate the Promotion due to excessive fraud. This process may involve Sonos sharing information with third parties.
- Opia Ltd, company number 06021170 with its registered offices at Priory House Pilgrims Court, Sydenham Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 3RX is responsible to administration of the Cashback Reward.
- The Promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
